Yet Another Writing Blog was just one of the many, many names I almost choose for this blog. In some ways it does seem appropriate. There are so many writing blogs out there, how could I even begin to presume that I could have something unique and interesting to say.
However, as I spent the last few months browsing various writing logs I noticed that many of them focus on the same concerns: job leads, pay, marketing of your blog, making your blog pay, and so on.
Now, these blogs provide good and valuable information. There is definitely a need for this type of information. With this blog, though, I’ve decided to take a different slant.
For this blog, I hope to cover the writing process–the thoughts of a writer. Together, we’ll look at the steps a writer goes through to create their final work.
(Of course, I reserve an author’s license to once in a while stray into the same old areas of: job leads, pay, marketing, making your blog pay, and so on.)
I hope you will enjoy your venture into WritingThought so much that this becomes the first of many visits.
