Of Note: Words of Redemption
This week I’ve chosen to highlight the personal writing blog of one of my Twitter friends, Brandon Satrom, “The Satch,” as we’ve come to know him on Twitter.
Brandon’s blog is called Words of Redemption and his tagline aptly describes his blog - it’s about “on writing and becoming a writer…”
Brandon’s writing focus is on fiction, and he’s got some really interesting material about writing. He also does a lot of reading and provides regular reading lists.
If you write fiction, or are interested in writing fiction, then you may want to take a look at the following posts:
- The Spring, Summer and (Hopefully Not) Fall 2008 Reading List - Weeks 10 and 11 - what Brandon’s reading now.
- Write What You See - The Monthly Micro-Fiction Challenge - a monthly writing challenge from Brandon. (I have to admit, I had not heard of micro-fiction before.)
For fiction writers, I think that Words of Redemption blog offers some interesting challenges.
Our last blog “of note” was PoeWar. You can read about it here.
Are you a fiction writer? If so, what’s your favorite blog?
Note: If you’re consistently posting great information and haven’t seen your blog featured in “Of Note†yet, I apologize. I’ll probably find you soon. But hey, why not drop me a note (laura at symbol writingthoughts dot com) and tell me why you think your writing blog is notable? If I agree, then I just might feature it here.
