WAHM Wednesday: Is Your Shopping All Done?

Although I love this time of the year, it can also be stressful. There are so many extra things to do. I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling rushed this time of the year.

So, I hesitantly ask the question of the day - is your Christmas shopping all done yet?

I have to admit that mine is not finished, but I do have a list and a plan.

What about you?

  1. Haven’t even started fighting the crowds yet, but then again, that’s what online shopping is for.

  2. I certainly agree. I’ll probably fight some crowds, but I intend to shop online too.

Of course, I’d better get the online shopping done soon or it will be too late to get the items in time for Christmas. (-:

  3. You’re off to a good start with a list and a plan.

In a blog post I just wrote at Heavenly Advice from the Teapot Angel - http://teapotheaven.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=0&Itemid=9 - as the Teapot Angel, I give 12 tips for gift-giving. The first one is making a list. Being organized is so important.

  4. OK, I don’t mean to come off as rude, but: Are you crazy? ;-) It’s not even December yet! There is no way on earth I’m that organized.

  5. I was ahead of the curve and got all the shopping done for my kids, but had to wait for name exchanges to take place to buy the rest. Now it looks like I’ll be waiting until the last minute…no time to shop these days!

  6. Done? How about only just begun? Yikes!

  7. Okay, Okay!

I guess I’m around some super-organized people. I was feeling like I was waaaay behind on this since so many people I know are done already.

Now I see that I am just average.

  8. Mine is not! OK? I have to say it, loud and clear! I still need top buy stuff. Something for my boyfriend (and I still don’t know what, because my initial plan was to give him a painting and the artist who was supposed to send me that is apparently too busy now), something for my friend who organizes the Christmas dinner, something for my wonderful friend Colleeen and so on and so on!
Anyway, there is one thing I cannot buy and that is time!

  9. Mig,

That is so true! Time is our most valuable asset.

  10. Oh my, I still have a long way to go before I finish my list. I was able to buy a few gifts last weekend and hope to do more soon.
