Of Note: Michael Stelzner’s Blog Writing White Papers
This week’s writing blog “of note” is Michael Stelzner’s Blog Writing White Papers. Although it’s a blog designed specifically around a particular type of writing, there is enough of general interest in his posts that writers of all types can learn something.
Recent posts of interest include:
- Who Inspires Your Writing - Does someone inspire you?
- What Music Helps You Write - Does music help you?
- Acronyms are NOT Your Friend - A podcast that made the technical writer in me want to jump out of my seat and shake Michael’s hand!
The other thing I really like about this site is that it’s VERY user-friendly - from the ease of navigation to the podcasts to the ability to rate each post (something that I wish I knew how to set up) — Michael clearly understands what it takes to create a usable blog.
Last week’s blog “of note†was All Freelance Writing. If you missed the feature, you can read more about it here.
Note: If you’re consistently posting great information and haven’t seen your blog featured in “Of Note†yet, I apologize. I’ll probably find you soon. I know there are a lot of great blogs out there; I discover more new ones each day. (So many blogs, so little time …)

Laura,
Sounds like a great blog! I’ll definitely check it out! (Personally, I enjoy classical music while writing–and at any time, really.)
Sorry I haven’t been commenting much lately! I’ve been incredibly busy!
Take care!

Laura, I had no idea you lived in Irving! I live in East Dallas, we really should meet sometime, (although you’d have to come this way, I don’t have a car, but I would buy you lunch!)
I read your article at AC about Amaya’s Mexican Grill in Red Oak. I love that place!! I have eaten there more times than I can count. I am from Waxahachie, so you were in my stomping ground when you were in Red Oak.
Email me sometime if you want to meet each other. wurdwise@yahoo.com
Oh, and I left a reply to your comment on my blog about queries.
