Another Place for WAHMs to Hang Out on the Web!

You are all invited to visit my newest writing gig! I’m the new blogger for Work From Home Momma and my first post is up over there.

While WritingThoughts focuses (and will continue to focus) on writing and blogging, Work From Home Momma is for anyone who works at home. I’ll explore various opportunities for working at home as well as provide information geared specifically for the self-employed. I hope to turn it into the kind of place where we can all share and learn from each other.

So, whether you’ve been working from home for years or are just getting started in a home business, don’t hesitate to stop in and say hello. I hope to see you over there!

  1. Congratulations, Laura, on the new blog opportunity. I hope that it helps you build brand awareness while giving you one more area of connecting with your readers.

  2. Thanks Matt! Most of all, I hope that people find it helpful.

  3. Well done Laura! Looks like a great opportunity.

I must say, with the number of you Gack Ink girls going on to do more, and more high profile, WAHM stuff, I’m thinking of becoming a WAHM too. It’s clearly the way forward.

  4. Well, Phil, we’ll take you as you are. Even if you aren’t a WAHM. ;)

I think it’s just a matter of going with what interests you.

On a serious note, though, I think you sort of have a point. People have been talking about earning a living from home for years. Until about ten years ago it was only a small minority of people who could actually do it.

Now more people, even those who are not self-employed, are electing to work from a home office. We may even see “the office,” as we know it, all but disappear in our lifetime.

  5. Wishing you the best on your new blog, Laura! I’m sure Work from Home Momma will be every bit as helpful as Writing Thoughts is–and every bit as fun to visit!

    Jeanne

  6. Thanks Jeanne!

  7. Nice place. I will be there. Best of luck with this new endavour.

  8. Wonderful news Laura… and well deserved. Warmest congratulations. Enjoy your new gig!

  9. Thanks Diogenes and Yvonne! I hope to see both of you there (and here).
